Our Mission

NC Ravens Academy is committed to fostering a holistic approach to sports and education. Beyond the game, we aim to illuminate youthful talent, nurture athletic abilities, and cultivate well-educated, healthy, disciplined individuals to lead the next generation.

Practice & Games

Get ready for some exciting games! On Saturdays, we'll play at home or in nearby cities in North Carolina. Check out the events page to view the projected schedule and start planning your game day trips.

Current sports offered are tackle football and cheer/dance.
Practice for football players and cheerleaders is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

Tuition

Full Membership: $500/year or $255/season. Includes sports (football or cheer), academic support, bonus clubs, and more.

December - February: Off-Season Conditioning Camp

March-May: Spring Football

June - July: Off-Season Conditioning Camp

July - November: Fall season

*This is only a projected schedule, as playoff and championship games can alter it. After becoming a Raven, you will receive direct communication on all dates.

Requirements for Players and Cheerleaders

The athlete's age as of August 1st, 2024, determines the division of play for Spring and Fall 24.'

Age Divisions: 6U | 8U | 10U | 12U | 14U

Must have:

NC Ravens Membership = pricing depends on the plan you choose.
AAU Membership = $26
State Id = $14 - $16
Physical - based on insurance

Balancing School and Sports

Study Hall

Study hall is held in person on Mondays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Athletes can arrive as early as 5:30 pm.

Individualized Action Plans

What are your athletic, personal, and academic goals, and what will it take to reach them? Our main objective is to help youth reach their goals. We expect athletes to perform above average in all four core subjects:

Math
English
Science
Social Studies.

Athletes scoring below expectations work with a learner coach to develop an action plan. Individuals meeting expectations can explore peer leadership roles, bonus clubs, etc.

Bonus Clubs

The Spelling Flock: Let the next spelling bee champion be from our community! Join The Spelling Flock as we embark on a journey to improve the spelling skills of your scholars and prepare them for a chance to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Ages 9-14
The Ravens Book Club: Do you love to read? NC Ravens is organizing a book club. Check back for more information on joining.
Press: Do you have a nitch for producing, filming, or editing videography? Join "Press," our Media Club. Scholars will learn the ins and outs of production while shooting NC Ravens news and working closely with performing arts. Check back for more information on when "Press" will be available.
